OUR MISSION
Driver's ed. Real estate. Insurance. Mortgage. Behind every license is a first car, a new career, a fresh start. We built Aceable to make those moments possible.

WHAT WE DO
Licensing education has a reputation for being dry content, clunky, and courses designed to check a box rather than actually teach anything. We decided that was a problem worth solving. Our courses are mobile-first, fully accredited, and built around one obsessive question: what’s the most effective, engaging way to get someone to actually learn this? We’re proud that our students consistently outperform competitors on pass rates.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
Blake Garrett Founder & CEO
“Action expresses priorities.”
Gandhi
The quote that started it all. In 2013, Blake started Aceable at Capital Factory in Austin because he believed licensing education was broken and he had the stubbornness to do something about it. He stacked his daily actions to building the company students and employees deserved. Before Aceable, he spent six years at Ernst & Young.
Over a decade and 20 million students later, he’s still the most energized person in the room. And these days, that energy is almost entirely directed at using AI to serve students better than anyone thought possible. Blake believes intelligent, adaptive education isn’t a feature or a roadmap item but the whole point. He’s a husband, a dad of three, a California kid who found his home in Austin.
BACKED BY THE BEST
We’ve raised over $100 million from investors who know the space, know what good looks like, and have been with us through every stage of growth.
HOW WE OPERATE
Your win is our win.
We measure success by our students’ — and each other’s.
Say what you mean.
Do what you say. No performance, no politics. Just the honest thing, said early.
Good enough isn’t.
Licensing education has a low bar. We set a higher one on purpose.
Listen first. Then build.
The best solutions come from understanding the real problem, not the stated one.
Hard problems are the job.
Regulated markets are complicated. We find a way through.
Get uncomfortable on purpose.
Curiosity isn’t optional. Neither is learning something new every week.
A good decision today beats a perfect one next quarter.
We ship, learn, adjust, and do it again. Urgency isn’t a personality type, it’s a practice.
RECOGNITION
We don’t chase awards. But we’re glad the people who work here think it’s worth mentioning.
